- What motivated Growatt to participate in ENERH2O 2026, and what are the main objectives the company intends to achieve with its presence at this fair?
Growatt participates in ENERH2O 2026 primarily driven by the strong growth momentum of Portugal’s PV and energy storage market, the exhibition’s focus on energy-water integration that aligns with its business layout, and the need to expand local market share and partner network. Its main objectives cover market expansion, product promotion, technical exchange, and brand building.
- In your experience, what role do professional energy sector fairs currently play in market development and in generating business opportunities?
Professional energy sector fairs now act as a “360° growth engine” for market development and business opportunity generation, integrating targeted lead generation, policy – tech – market integration, regional market entry acceleration, and brand – trust building—capabilities that digital channels alone struggle to replicate.

- Portugal is an increasingly dynamic market in the field of renewable energies. What experiences has Growatt had so far in this country, and what are its growth expectations in the short and medium term?
Growatt has built a solid foundation in Portugal through localized channel expansion, product adaptation, and technical training, with short – term (1–2 years) goals of doubling market share and boosting residential/commercial PV – storage adoption, and medium – term (3–5 years) aims of becoming a top – tier supplier and leading the energy – water integration segment
- Growatt has established itself as one of the benchmark brands in solar energy and storage solutions. What do you consider to have been the keys to this international positioning?
Growatt’s rise as a global benchmark in solar and storage stems from six interlocking pillars: technology-product leadership, glocalization strategy, full-stack solution ecosystem, brand-trust validation, channel-partner empowerment, and market-trend agility—a system that balances global scale with local relevance and sustains competitive advantage.
- Innovation is one of the great drivers of the sector. In which areas is Growatt currently focusing its R&D efforts, and what technological trends do you think will shape the near future?
Growatt’s R&D is now focused on five high-impact areas: hybrid PV – storage integration, AI – driven smart energy management, high – safety battery tech, grid – friendly compliance, and scalable & easy – to – install solutions. The near term (1–3 years) tech trends will be shaped by grid- edge intelligence, storage – PV convergence, safety – first system design, multi – energy coupling, and digital – physical integration.
- In the context of the global energy transition, what role do you believe self-consumption and storage solutions will play in transforming the energy model?
In the global energy transition, residential/commercial self consumption paired with energy storage is a foundational, democratizing force that is fundamentally reshaping the traditional centralized energy model—shifting it from a one-way, utility-dominated system to a decentralized, two-way, user-centric energy ecosystem. These solutions are not just “add-ons” to renewable adoption; they are the critical enabler that unlocks the full potential of solar PV, addresses grid bottlenecks from variable renewables, and empowers end-users to become active participants (prosumers) in the energy market. Their transformative role spans grid resilience, renewable penetration, energy equity, and market innovation, with short- and long-term impacts that redefine how energy is generated, distributed, and consumed.
- Growatt stands out for its wide range of solutions adapted to different customer profiles. How does the company approach the customization of its products and services to meet the needs of each market?
Growatt’s approach to customizing products and services for global markets is built on a market-first, modular-flexible, software-defined, and locally anchored framework. It starts with deep market-specific insight, leverages a modular hardware platform and customizable firmware/software stack, and delivers through localized certification, sales, and after sales systems, ensuring solutions fit diverse grid codes, climates, tariffs, and customer needs.
- China’s technological offering is having a major impact on the sector worldwide. From your perspective, what differential value does this industrial and technological capacity bring to the development of renewable energies?
China’s industrial and technological capacity delivers four core differential values to the global renewable energy sector—unprecedented cost reduction at scale, integrated full-stack solution innovation, agile manufacturing and supply chain resilience, and policy-aligned rapid technology commercialization—that have fundamentally redefined the pace, accessibility, and scalability of the global energy transition. Unlike fragmented regional innovation or incremental industrial capacity in other markets, China’s vertically integrated ecosystem (R&D, manufacturing, deployment, iteration) turns cutting-edge renewable tech into affordable, globally deployable solutions at a speed and scale no other country can match. This value is not just about “low-cost production”—it is about a holistic ability to de-risk, democratize, and accelerate renewable energy adoption for both developed and emerging markets, with ripple effects across the entire solar, storage, wind, and smart energy value chain..
- Finally, what message would you like to share with professionals visiting ENERH2O 2026 who are not yet familiar with Growatt’s solutions?
